Just tried your Sharpie trick on my project. The run was in a tricky area
with an inside radius & I sweated worrying how to get it done. The sharpie
ink is so thin it shows every little detail & I spent less than 10 minutes
working from 1500 through 2500 grit then compound & polish! A great tip &
thanks so much – you are the best!

How long are you allowing the clear to cure before you go through with this
process? I have noticed that the clear will sand and chunk off easier while
not fully cured and knocking off those high spots are easy to chip. I am
allowing at least two days for clear to cure under some lights or uv before
wet sand.
