Norman Brown Jr says:

Just a few things to help you out, the putty your using save that for your fine tuning it's glazing putty. When you sanding and you start hitting your high spots stop and lightly tap them down. always feel with fingers closed and flat you'll feel you highs and lows a lot better. That was a bold choice with the lead, but with practice you'll get better. try to keep your lead paddles oil and they won't burn so bad. Second time watching your channel, you'll do just fine.

John Householder says:

Good looking lead work, can’t wait to see the finished project. No money for expensive tires says the guy with 3 Cadillacs, lol. Thanks John from Arizona

Fouled Plug Garage says:

Sandra says:

Seeing the lead work being done is interesting

Bobby Jones says:

Are you supposed to neutralize it with baking soda and water?

Paul Mason says:

Looking really good

Bertram Farrell says:

If I was attempting this, the result would be, utterly, horrible when compared to the job that you've done. You've got some super skills, Todd. As always, loving the content.

REN RUT says:

I guess I’m showing my age because I would have left the original rims on your car but the gangster look you young kids like just isn’t my thing. Regardless your a very talented young man on this restoration.

Curtis Harris says:

You might wanna wear a mask and wash your hands really well. Lead is no joke dangerous. Great job, haven't seen lead work in 30 years!!

Anthony Visnesky says:

Excellent job working the lead , Todd. The best tip I can give us to make sure you have enough lead in the seam you are working before you start filing . Adding additional lead afterward is darn near impossible without losing the initial fill. Great skill to master though

Working mans restorations says:

Looks good. Alot of hard work

Phillip Claridge says:

I have to take my hat off to you because using lead work is not easy and it seems that you have done a really nice job. It will pay off when the car is finished – well done

Miguel Flores says:

Todd coming out and looking good , never seen lead repair

Raymond Proseus says:

You love to grind. Are you a grindr?

al mann says:

Great job with the lead, it’s definitely a dying art. Now you can officially call the caddy a lead sled.
