Hey I read that it’s better do this with a fresh oil change. Do you take the solenoids out change the oil and then put the new ones in?

@chacebusness6451 says:

If I got code p0010 is it actuator solenoid in the back of the engine or is it the solenoids that he replaced?

@mzell321 says:

Is it the same part for both sides?

@KrishnaKumarB1127 says:

Thank you! This worked for the Cadillac CTS with the 2.0 engine too. My codes were P0010 and P0011 and I had to replace the intake side (passenger side) only. I used ECH VVS1854 from NAPA. It cost me only $50 and around 20 minutes; a Cadillac dealership near Atlanta quoted me $1,200 for this!!! The exhaust side with error code P0013 is covered under warranty, but the intake side is not.
