Knosrocks I am with you on that, 5.7s for me as well…northstar has alot of ups n downs, but can do alot too the 5.7 lt1 motors.

Thanks Bro… its not stripped i had the screw off already so i woould be able to cut down the time on the video.. i really like cadillacs though but cant stand the northstar engine.. its either the 5.7L Lt1 or the 4.9L for me.. 94-95 fleetwood or coupe deville & the 96 fleetwood.. thanks for the comment..

Nice job bud – great attention to detail. It’s nice to see interest in the old FWD Cadillacs. However – Is it just me, or is that lower t-stat housing bolt hole STRIPPED? It should be noted – that engine was a 1991-1995, in ’96 the Northstar became standard. Great engine, that 4.9 – but aluminum threads are what they are.
