the specialty tool doesn’t fit some cars like Ford Taurus, tool was too
small to catch both notches so I wasted 13 bucks.

I tried pushing in my pistons with circlip pliers – no chance! Needed a
special tool for around £30 (like a corkscrew), still hard, even with
reservoir cap removed. Car: Bora

They put the mechanical parking brake on there so you have a brake of some
sort. Not because it hydraulic.

man…. i would rather change that out and put different brake Caliper, i
had one that just didn’t want to turn. that cub tool is a problem waiting
to happen. The worst that Cadillac came up with. well GM anyway. everything
is design for you to have to take it to the dealer.

if your careful you can use needle nose pliers too. thats what i used when
changing the breakes on my talon
