thank you! we just moved into our first home and our swamp cooler
overflowed leaving a huge hole in our ceiling from water damage. I think
we can figure this out on our own now after watching this!!!!
Excellent demo. the nice thing is giving us the idea how much it will cost
us doing this project. Your short demo has a lot of informations that is
very useful especially to a non handyman like me. I will do a lot of
repairs and using all the items that you shown us, this is really a great
help. Thank you very much. God Bless.
For the posts that criticize this guy’s work, instead of busting his balls
why not step up and tell us how you would perform such brain surgery. I’m a
stockbroker by profession yet i ended up replacing a 6’x 9′ of ceiling
damaged by the overflow of a toilet… Why? Because the flakey drywall guy
never would show up when he said he would. I’m sure it took me longer than
one of you pros but this isn’t rocket science. Let’s hear how you critics
would do it better…
Hi Greg……Great Job! Thanks for the video. I was trying to repair
damaged dry wall on a ceiling and wasn’t sure of the details. thanks to you
I kow what materials I need and how to get the job done in a professional
way. Thanks again.. Good luck.
Very useful but I wouldn’t be cutting and handling that fibreglass batt
without gloves and and a good dust mask. Those fibres must be blowing all
over the place. I still remember a doctor from Health Canada telling me
that the fibres in fibreglass are as dangerous as asbestos fibre. – Jake.

Thanks for your help! I just started working in sales for a painting
company, and have to estimate drywall repairs.
This helped me… turns out a person can fall through an attic. Needless
to say, I learned to drywall real quick. Thanks for posting!
Like the old school drill. No running out of juice.
I think you may also want to consider vapour barrier.

why not use a carpentry knife it can do the job of both those trowels and
no jaw horse?
Seem
Shouldn’t you use gloves and goggles, and a mask before you cut up that
insulation? Isnt that fiberglass?
“Of course I don’t have power”…Been there done that. lol. Those old
corded drills are the most faithful tools. My dad has had his for about 20
years.

But it’s very encouraging we may have a bash
