You may want to confirm that there’s power to the motors with a test light. Also check the wire harness between the drivers side door and body of the car for a frayed or broken wire that may also bes causing an issue. Hope this helps you out, have a great day 1aauto.com

Hi, I have 1994 Eldorado. The left window does not roll neither way. The right window works from driver’s and passanger’s switch. When I press switch for left window I can hear click but motor does nor run. What is wrong? is it a swicth? I did behave like this in the past but somehow “repaired” itself in a day or so. Not this time.

You will have to figure out a way to remove the motor to allow the arms to move up and down.

The driver’s window switch broke (1999 Cadillac DeVille). Turned out to be a chipped plastic piece inside the switch for the driver’s window. Ordered the part, followed the video instructions and presto! Very quick and easy fix. Thank you so much for saving us a trip to the shop and the extra cost too.

We carry an engine gasket kit, but we do not offer just the head and oil pan gaskets by themselves. Here’s a link to them on our website. 1aauto.com/1A/EngineGasketSets/Cadillac/Deville/1AEGS00100/562941/1998?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=youtube&utm_campaign=1ATony

My 95 Deville had a strap to pull the door closed, it was ends of this strap where I found the screws that needed to be removed. Then everything was like this video. took 30 minutes.
The ends of the strap are covered with plastic caps- lift with flatblade screwdriver from the outside edges.
