It helps to keep debris and road grime off of your rotors. Thanks for checking us out. Have a great day! 1aauto.com

Awesome, very similar to the 2011 DTS, I’m gonna do this when my part gets here! Thanks for the video! Also, what’s the purpose of the backing plate?

1aauto says:

On some vehicles the bearing is pressed into the hub with a machine. Your’s should be a complete hub assembly.

MrTXstunna says:

Sorry but what do u mean by “pressed in”? Where exactly would the head bolt be located? from the front or back? Would u happen to know the size torx socket I need to remove the head bolt? T-45? I appreciate your help this car is driving me crazy. Had a 2001 seville and nothing comes off the same way.

I have a 01 explorer and a 97 deville. Your videos have saved me a ton! the 1aauto website has had free shipping and its easy to use! Can you make a video for a 97 Deville water pump? mine has a slow steady leak .

1aauto says:

There might be a torx head bolt holding on the bearings. The front bearings on the 1993 are not a pressed in bearing to the vehicle.

MrTXstunna says:

Hey man I have a ’93 cadillac seville and I ‘m tried to take my Hub off earlier. I got down to the 3 retaining bolts in the back and they weren’t there. Am I suppose to use a puller? Or is there a special type of socket? I see where they should be but it looks like u need an allen wrench or torx socket or something. Please help asap!!

dude youre awesome

afarom2006 says:

I got a quote from a local mechanic 400 for both sides.. plus the cost of parts for my 2001 Seville. . After watxhing this video I going to attempt to do myself. Is this the same process on a seville.

Melvin Woodcock says:

I just got a quote of $225 to do this a shop. I will do it my self. A baby could change a wheel bearing 🙂 I just need the hub socket and a C-clamp.

1aauto says:

If there was an issue with the hub triggering it, then it should turn it off.

davetheg28 says:

? Will this turn off the abs light . And I only did one side I have light grinding on the driver side now.

1aauto says:

If the driver side has the ABS plug, then the passenger side will and vice versa.

1989MrDeville says:

do both wheels have the stability control plug? please respond may need to do this to my 98.

1aauto says:

I’m not sure. You may want to ask the members on a Cadillac forum to see if they happen to know if they are interchangeable.

toothpaste237 says:

this is kind of of topic but i have a 97 deville just like this one on the video and i dont like the wheels on it, is it possible that the 95 deville wheels fit on a 97?

L Mckinney says:

thanks a lot I’m a 25 year old mother and not auto mechanical at all but with this video I replaced the wheel bearing on my 2002 cadillac <3 <3 🙂

Tony K says:

everything is the same for the 2001 deville. the only differences is the black metal shielding. it isnt as big as this one in the video but the process and bolt/nut sizes are all the same size as Mike had shown us. Great work Mike!

1aauto says:

There may be a few things different on your car (the way things attach), however the basic steps should be some what close.

CarlosDorado89 says:

Is it similar for a 2001?

CarlosDorado89 says:

Good video hopefully its the same for my 2001
