Links Below: The HOW TO Simple Fix of P0741 OBD Code, a common failure with this engine / transmission combination. This 1999 Cadillac Deville had this diagnostic trouble code and my remedy was much easier than pulling the engine / transmission assembly or replacing the solenoid with the transmission in the vehicle.

Carl Ohlman says:

Great video! My 97 Deville Concours has this code as well as a whine under acceleration. Is there any chance flushing her trans will fix both? Also can the filter be changed? Thank you!

Steve Andrews says:

Can this P0741 transmission code be singular as well as in conjunction with a P1860 (TCC) code, as well? Do both, individually or collectively, refer to a bad TCC valve body as described in this video? I'm getting just the P1860 code on a 2000 Cadillac Deville that I replaced this TCC valve in about three years ago. I'm hoping I don't have to do this hard job, again, on it. The ATF fluid looks pretty clean, still – haven't put that many miles on it, yet, since I replaced the TCC solenoid and changed the ATF fluid / filter on it. Thanks.
