@rfc4life2005 no they already come with them in my caddy truck did to all u
do is buy the bulb.

john caldwell says:

fuck that”.i would take my cadillac to the dealer and let them have those
problems”

rfc4life2005 says:

when u put your HIDs in did you have to put the ballast in also? i heard
the 2006 Cadillac DTS already have HIDs stock i just was wondering.
@mstreet8484

Purple Haze says:

@john lol I feel u but hey y pay someone if u can do it your self.

pillowbugg says:

SOB, that’s a lot of work to change it out. I just hope it’s the bulb
instead of the ballister unit. Other then the bulb or ballister, what else
would cause the headlamp to go out?

TheMotoboys1 says:

Awesome! The only video on this repair, good job.

Purple Haze says:

@Themotoboys1 Thanks that y I did it

Purple Haze says:

You have to use a screw driver with the star bit on it in it two springs
one on each side u have to push dwn then up to get the bulb out.

deapozol says:

I just did my 08 DTS and only replaced the turn signal lamps and park mini
bulbs. It was not that hard for me and your video helped alot. I tried to
not remove the bumper cover but, just got to do it, no way around it. It
took me about 4 hrs to do. I took my time. Thanks for such a nice video. 🙂

Christina Smith says:

o damn

Purple Haze says:

@deapoloz thanks in no it will not hurt anything I think a 6000k r 8000k
will give u a good brighter look anything pass 8000k is just color in u
kent see but so far a head @ night.

Purple Haze says:

@thestoicagnostic yes u r rite just turn the wheel In u can do it that way
it save a lot of time I have a 07 Tahoe in I have to do the same thing with
my truck dam Gm cars but I love them.

Purple Haze says:

The caddy come with factory hid already but u can use 5000k to 15000k it up
to in I think they r 35 watts

TheStoicAgnostic says:

everywhere says you have to do this so thumbs up but you don’t I turned the
wheel out, removed the entire fender well but probably did not have to. you
can reach your hand in and basically blindly feel a few bolts behind the
light fixture you need to remove. Dropping the bumper had no real benefit
for me. What I would do is loosen the fender in the front because there is
a bolt sticking out of the housing that was just long enough it was
difficult to turn which is the movement to remove it.

Pdiddi says:

Need a little help. I have the same car just for music. Please email me at
4thomas4@gmail.com. I just need a min of your time.

jkuz05 says:

How do you get the headlight bulb out I got everything taken apart and
dunno how to take the bulb out

Purple Haze says:

It could be a electrical problem somewere in the harness caddy are know for
electrical problem with there cars.

deapozol says:

Say my stock HID’s are not that bright but they still work. When one of
them burns out I want to replace them to be brighter though. What Kelvins
are in the stock do you know? I think they are 4300K. If they are, want to
replace them with like maybe a 5000k. Do you think the 5000K will make it
brighter? Will it damage the ballast? I hear you put 12000K in urs how is
it? I just want to have a bright white and not bluish or purple. Thanks for
your help.

deapozol says:

What hid lights can you use? Can you use 5000k or 6000k? Do you have the
35watt or 55watt? Thanks great video.
