The title is misleading – you never showed how to replace the battery – is there a part 2? I sat watching this with my opened key fob for five and a half minutes, wondering how to change the battery.

I just replaced a battery in one of mine and the owners manual doesn’t say to use the key to spread it apart it says to
pull the key out and use the corner of the base to spread open the remote. Any non-metal tool would be better than sticking a metal key into the transmitter and risking internal damage.

CNC295 says:

Thank you. Big help.
