The battery in this 2015 Cadillac Escalade is located under the hood and below a fender brace. Although this video may provide you with the basic procedures, we recommend that you check with the vehicle manufacture’s step by step procedures found in service/repair manuals for the vehicle you are working on.

My new battery came with a kit for battery venting. Not sure what this is, but do i need to use it?
Thank you for the informative video. Is it necessary to reinstall all the braces? It seems excessive and makes removing the battery time consuming. What is the purpose of these braces?
