67% is the calculated transmission fluid life, not fluid level. Not a false
reading. There is no automated check for fluid level, it is a part of
regular maintenance and isn’t considered a likely cause of failure as you
would notice the leak long before any driveability issues. Owner’s can’t be
expected to know everything and you brought it to the ‘pros’ to fix – and
they failed to do a very basic maintenance check. This one’s on them as far
as I’m concerned.
