Hey! If its secondary air injection
Starts failing* is it gonna be bad? I mean, is it a big problem?
* I don’t know if that’s the correct way to say it haha
I just got one last week, before reading reviews,
It has 89k miles and cost me 2500,
I thought it wasn’t a bad deal.
A don’t have any problems yet, the engine light just turned on, and right
after I start the car, the air pump sounds a lil bit weird. But I love how
it runs! I hopefully last a while
My car keeps shutting off on the road and i was told its the fuel pump so I
went off and had a mechanic replace it.. car still shuts off in 5 mins and
now they say its a fuel filter issue please help me I am going nuts.. I
been doin research and they say that cadilla cateras are horrible cars I am
a single mom and this is all I have my battery keeps dyin out and o
replaced that and nothing please help
i have a 2000 catera, bought it with 42k miles.. running great, got the run
around and turned out to be the Mass air flow sensor.. it has 81k miles on
it now and when it gets hot here in florida it doesnt start very well, mu
restart. like resetting a computer or a cell phone, then its fine..
So, all what u did was putting all the positive cables together, and that
solved the starting issue?

My cadillac catera is doing the same thing. But when it stops running it
won’t start back for a couple hours. I’ll check the wire connection. I was
also told it could be the fuel pump.
I’m having a starting problem but only after it got cold I mean really
cold one night it ran fine the day before .this morning both of my cars
were dead I jumped my truck it ran ive been trying every thing for a month
to get it started can the filter be frozen cause once in a while it starts
for a few seconds and then dies .I even tried changing the spark plugs
thanks for putting this up helps me out alot. I’m having the same problem
changed the crankshaft sensor still nothing. I will do the same hopefully I
have the same issue
