On this episode of Make It Kustom, I’m back on Kristina’s 1960 Cadillac Coupe De Ville working on the metal fabrication for the body drop. I’m stitching back together the bracing as well as fabricating fillers and connectors for the body. I’ll be hammer forming, spot welding and repairing rust.

Just and FYI crimped overlap seams are stronger than butt welds when dealing with sheet metal. And they hold up better to vibrations, less cracking. And looks closer to OEM. Mod it, but make them say did that come factory like that.
I just watched all the caddies videos and it is going to be an awesome car. I envy her you are doing a great job. I so enjoy listening to you , I am surprised that a cable show has not picked you up yet. Great job hope for more videos on her car, Finish it soon she is lucky

Really enjoyed this reminds me of the jobs I used to have patching body work for mot tests. ( never looked as good as yours ) . Love the hole punch and the exact method for the hammer forming . Thanks Karl
