My 2016 regal GS AWD is shuddering and has always had a slight shift flare.. and their transmission is sealed.. is it converter for sure? It revs when in 6th gear cruising too.. as if lockup if slipping. 100k miles. I hate GM autos. Junk
Will this work on a 2019 buick enclave essence?
Tried this in my 2016 and made the shudder worse. This shudder was only a week old and shuddered around 30-40. Now it shudders worse and does it whenever the accelerator is pushed hard. Guees the transmission is done at just 130k miles. What a joke. My 11 f250 has 366k and same transmission.
Arent Dextron HP is specifically for 8 speed transmissions ?
I had this similar issue with a 2013 Buick Enclave AWD I bought used, we did a fluid change and put in Redline D6 ATF in as the fluid in the transmission had a burnt smell along with sediment that came out of it. I've been driving my Enclave for the past 50 km (31 miles) with good success as redline atf calmed down the third gear shutter where is has almost became non existant, I'll still be adding some shudder fix to keep the shuddering at bay.

I have a 12 Enclave with 127k, the fluid looks the same, the condition is the same. I just changed the fluid with max life dex 6, and customer came back with the shudder still there. I just added shudder fixx and we’ll see if this works on GM transmissions as well. I had great luck on Honda and Toyota transmissions that were resold in the used car market with this.
