Yes, furhead should clean his car up. I’m not the only one to have said so.
how did he manage to get that liner out of the car in one piece? i had ’84
buick electra (full-size model) once and i just can’t figure out how to
remove headliner without removing the windshield…
Always puts a big smile on my face watching you two. Rock & Roll ~ Cheers~

@thisoldguy64 I think ‘furhead can pull it off. He’s got some experience
with this sort of thing, as he’s gone to school for it.
@blue06lt Any duct tape?
did that car have auto reverse cassette/ am fm radio?
Do you guys have any Ford Taurus’s??? nice Buick btw, my buddy has one just
like it š
@RandallFlaggNY Nope, not for that particular repair. But duct tape was
used in other repairs as was WD-40.
@R5alive Reusing the old material is probably more trouble than it’s worth,
and it’s not in great shape anyway. He is planning to get new fabric for
the headliner.
@college153 Nope. š
Is he shaving his head and using the product to line the ceiling of the
Buick??
@uxwbill because i love you!
Iļ»æ already repaired mines in my 89 regal what a pain that was driving with
it falling down. It looks like a new top now inside but I got more things
to fix in the interior. I hope it looks good mine did.
the trusty gmc š
Good video. Lots of people have messed head liners. Especially in American
cars.
legend of the part 2 that never was… and still isn’t.
@redneckbryon So far, yes. I don’t know what his exact plans are.
@uxwbill Because your videos are awesome and it’s a feather in my cap to
know I was the first to watch and comment.
@bhstone1 That’s all well and good, but I was kinda hoping for a more
serious answer. š
I stapled mine. I am not sure if I want to re do it or not…hm… You need
some Fluuuiiid Filmmm for that Buick!!
Is he just doing the head liner?
My mom had an old shitkicker 1979 Dodge St. Regis and we fixed its
headliner with a staple gun. Not pretty, but it worked.
Looks like the inside of my car. Except my interior isn’t so inviting as in
there.
@WilkinsChunilall yup
a little over 200,000 miles
@tallboyyyy It’s a used car and we are the second owners. My dad bought it
from a little old lady who decided she wanted a new car after owning this
one for 20 years. She bought another Buick (a Lacrosse, IIRC) and wasn’t
very happy with it. In fact, she mentioned wanting to buy her old car back,
and I don’t think she was joking! Furhead also has plans to fix the body
damage.
Most probably not…it’s so nice that I was told of this comment by
Youtube! Gaaah!

Yes, it did. That seems to have been the most common radio type. I have
only seen a few with the “base” AM/FM stereo radio. I’ve been told that
there is a two speaker variant as well.
@uxwbill That’s not what we heard…
What a bunch of complaining. š
furhead is amazing =D lol
how many miles are on that lesabre?
Furhead lives like a pig in the car, I wouldn’t be able to drive around w/
all that crap in the car. It would drive me nuts.
E-Z fix – spray on truck bed liner. A 280Z I once drove suffered the same
illness. In a curious moment at a stoplight I peeled it back to see what
was supposed to hold it in. Big mistake. Light turns green, trying to
drive, shift and hold the liner up. Finally tore it down and drove it with
just the foam-lined fiberboard. But often thought about an easy fix..
My gosh! You need to have a yard sale!
oh god when me and dad did mums stanza i let go and it dried with all
wrinkles looked awesome!
Is there ever going to be a part 2?? You left me in suspense here š
@bhstone1 Did you write first before watching
@zed91 In my part of the world, most headliners seem to last about 20 years
before they fall down. (The headliner in the Black Plague van only lasted
for about eight before it started to come down. Go figure.) I suspect it is
the heat that gets them.
It’s so nice to be told of these comments. On most cars, the secret is to
take it out through the passenger’s side door.
I knew of an 80s grand cherokee, with a sagging headliner. The owner had
taken thumb tacks, and re-attached the headliner in an inspired pattern,
which created an attractive “tufted” appearance.
@bhstone1 Why?
this is why i prefer vinyl headliners (like in the 1989 toyota corolla dx
sedan i used to have)
Hey Bill my 88 is exactly identical headliner wise! same color car and
interior too! I have the vinyl roof and auto climate control. otherwise its
identical!
I have that problem with the 1981 Bonneville. Its not a huge problem yet
but it will likely be in the future. The 1985 Caprice has it in the
C-pillers.
FIRST!
not really an easy job to do, it may look easy but wait.good luck.
@bhstone1 but you didnt comment on the video :”(. anyhoo, on to hte video.
furhead? can obtain that grey fabic/velvet stuff from a decent auto
upholstery shop as well as some spray adhesive. but work SLOWLY. wrinkles
are not easy to get rid of lol
