It’s one of those things you don’t want to spend money on to repair because they still work but I can’t see very well at night with them anymore.

Jack says:

Where did you get the replacements ?

I appreciate the video! I have to replace the Left front headlight on my parents 2005 Buick LaCrosse CXL. So between your video and reading some comments I am going to try. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Lol Thanks again!

Not an easy job.

Thanks guys.

I have an '07 LaCrosse, I need to pull the headlight assembly, just to change the turn signal bulb. I'm disappointed in this video. I know how to do it, I was hoping you'd show an EASY way to do it. The fact that you skipped all the wiggling, fidgeting, and fighting to get the damn thing out really bothers me. You cut the important stuff. It's a huge pain in the ass with that piece that goes through the middle, between high & low beams.

It wold be nice if you showed another way to change the front turn signal bulb, if there is one

Joe Milko says:

The owners manual also describes the procedure.

philip dias says:

You add led lowbeam bulbs yet?

Orbit Corona says:

That doesn't seem too bad. I thought maybe the bumper cover had to come off but your technique works nicely. Thanks for saving me a headache =)

Is there any trick to get the main plug out when pulling the old assembly? I used a screwdriver for a tab on the turn signal plug but the main one is a mystery? Thanks.

mushthepig says:

Let's see…$262 to have one done by my "honest" mechanic or buy a pair for $148 (tax and shipping included) and do it myself. What shall I do?

ShadowScoutSwede says:

Thanks for sharing my friend awesome video and it is good when you changed the headlights too and i agree it was necessary to replace the old ones.

I actually had mine delivered yesterday. I haven't decided if I will record it or not. Easy as pie! Ready to rock and roll!

Glad this wasn't complicated! LOL! As much "rocket science" was needed here, you made it seem so easy! With all the ways cars have become complicated, it is so refreshing to see someone still take the old school approach to diy; and who actually has the knowledge to do this kind of work! It's a great skill to be able to have! I am jealous!

Light 'em Up Outdoors says:

It's always great when you can actually see the headlights! Nice job showing us how it's done!
