I changed my e38 ignition swtich airbag light was on and steering wheel
cruise button didnt work.but still same.cruise button doesnt work.airbag
light was of for a week and it came on yesterday again.do u have any idea?
I had to change mine out on my Ford Explorer, only to later find out the
lever that actually shifts the Ignition switch from start to off was broken
in half, I even replaced the Cylinder lock and key…. So the Key will turn
the motor on but not off… I guess Gorilla Glue is my only option now! -TX

how did you get te two covers off i dont want to break it
Screws on bottom and plastic retainer on bottom and top.
It’s a common problem on these cars. 🙁
