Removing Buick Lesabre door panels/speakers

Removing Buick Lesabre door panels/speakers

Removing Buick Lesabre door panels and speakers, there is also a little bit about the rear speakers. All the lesabres from 92-99 should be very similar to this.

Tyler Price says:

how do you pop the glass part off?

Michael Peterson says:

Who would of known there was such a great video on this. I took apart door
panel before watching this. That bolt near the Red light would of been
great to know before hand. Don’t mind me just twisting and ripping the door
panel off.

Todd Melanson says:

Love my 97 LeSabre. 137k miles and runs like a top! Smooth, powerful and
comfortable!

bah53 says:

@Uberponage89 A door panel removal tool, I’m not sure if it has any other
name.

crackermess says:

where can i get one of those door tab poppers

crackermess says:

@LowRida5 nah dude its hella deep. on my lesabre, its just a square plastic
piece that goes back a couple inches but its open in the back so even if
you have deep speakers, they have plenty of room. id say theres probably a
good 8 inches at the least

bah53 says:

@crackermess Auto parts store should have one

Goose Bumps says:

After removing the door panel what steps would I have to take to remove the
door lock solenoid, recently Lost my keys and need to make a new one by
taking The lock off. Thank you

crackermess says:

@LowRida5 its a pretty deep well there.

UTUBEFreaK1985 says:

how do you remove the wires off the power window switch?

SkeeteRX8 says:

Thanks for the informative video! Slight question- My 1994 Lesabre has
locks that won’t always work. Is this a normal issue?

crackermess says:

@Exodus91312 should be 5.25″

sheyrose7 says:

Oh how I miss my Buick lasebre!!! I wish we could have fixed the sub frame!
It was the best car and it hugged you every time you sat in ‘er. :(.
Especially the handle on my trunk! Although I don’t miss the hole in the
trunk and the exaust fumes In the car! Thanx bah53. Best car ever!

JeffN727 says:

On a Pontiac Sunfire, you have to take the back seat out completely, and
take all the interior panels off to get to the rear speakers! They don’t
mount up from the inside of the trunk. Pain in the arse! I think I will be
leaving the Pioneers in it when I get rid of the car!

crackermess says:

@Exodus91312 nope i dont have a clue. id have to measure it myself

Justin Bruce says:

This video was a definite life saver when looking how to take my door
panels off of my 1999 Lesabre. Thanks a bunch!

Trevor Anthony says:

I just had a 1995 buick lesabre custom handed down to me and your videos
are amazingly helpful. Thank you very much. Liked and subscribed 🙂

cde19891 says:

i removed all of the stock speakers in my 1993 Lesabre and after about a
week the Driver front quit working, the tweeter worked, and then bout 5
days later the rest quit workin, the radio works fine, and i cant figure it
out to save my life.

bah53 says:

@ironman1438 I don’t have a car with that handle setup here, all of the
ones I have are the older style push button ones.

Exodus91312 says:

would you happen to know the dimensions for the front speakers on the 93? I
have a 93 and i’m not sure what size are up front

coffeefish says:

Looks like a TV remote, is built into the door panel. Great stuff GM, its
all about the style right?

Rob Close says:

Outta curiosity what got you in to driving Buick Lesabres in the first
place?

Uberponage89 says:

What tool you used to take the clips off?

Andrew Hyland says:

huh mine has manual mirrors… i had to pop that out too….. it just pops
off the bottom… and that light is a pain in the Arse to get out at
times….. haha my door panel had been off before and the guy before me
didnt have half of them plugged in….. I had to use the spair holes they
give u and add the clips to those Now it fits tight….

Exodus91312 says:

@crackermess do you know the mounting depth of the speakers? like whats the
distance from the front of the speaker to the back of the speaker?

Abazek says:

Very helpful, thanks for posting this. Never knew there was a Tool for
prying up the clips. Also, thanks very much for editing (other videos waste
2+ minutes watching someone undo screw after screw — yours didn’t!!).

M. Callen says:

Is there a quicker way to get to those bolts, like just popping off the
speaker area? Just need to replace the passenger mirror…

nick kalisz says:

how do you take the rear door panels off. i need to know because the door
won’t open

More350Power says:

I actually made a tool similar to that out of a weed puller garden tool,
lol. I got tired or breaking door tabs

bah53 says:

@chevy5030 The glass part just pops off but the whole mirror assembly has
two nuts that have to be removed from the inside of the door.

bah53 says:

@metalmaniac622 I got one as a hand me down and beat the piss out of it for
3 years. My first two cars I had I destroyed in about 6 months each so when
this one lasted me that long I figured I had found a good car.

Adolfo Hitler says:

thank you dude

milldabeast519 says:

good ol sabre beast

Tom Sloan says:

how do u take the mirror off ..is it easy to take off the right side . i
got a 93 buick lesabre

Rob Close says:

@bah53 yeah i think you’ve made a good choice…. I just bought a red 1994
Buick Le Sabre custom 2 weeks ago for 1200 bucks… got 150,000 miles on it
and the 3800 inside runs brand spankin new… I think the 4T60-E in my car
may have been either rebuilt or replaced once cuz for some odd reason the
tranny (where i look underneath where the pan is) looks newer than the rest
of the car.
