How To Replace Install Upper Intake Manifold 1996-05 Buick Lesabre many GM 3.8L 3800

how did you establish that you had a leak i think i have the same problem. i have replaced every vacuum line on mine and it still seems like i have a leak

Yes you are correct, our car was missing the engine cover.

Should also do a video on the LIM gaskets as well. GM used a plastic based gasket on the LIM which would leak also.

I did both of these on my 2004 Grand Prix last year. Wasn’t too bad off a job.

For anyone who looks at this and has their engine cover still on the engine, twist the oil cap tube counter clockwise, and pull the front side up and the back under (It hooks onto a bracket)
