Our ’85 Buick Regal – Project Street Regal – gets rebuilt from the inside out! Under the hood a new drivetrain and chassis are installed. We add some GNX body panels before cleaning up and updating a set of old Camaro/Nova wheels with fresh paint and trim pieces. Then, the Buick gets its dated vinyl top removed and a new spoiler to help keep the rear end on the ground.
Inside, Project Street Regal gets some upgrades to its dated interior including sound proofing along with attention to all of the mechanical and electrical systems.
With a nod to the Grand National, we’re giving our Regal more Go-Go. We fabricate a race inspired fuel system. Then, the Buick is finally ready for some fit and finish with body work and candy paint. To wrap the build up we take her out on the town, put it through the paces, and see what she is made of. #Buick #Regal

Nice build !!! Love the 80s cars …..Still sorry I sold my Monte Carlo ss 85 ….
I have an 84 Cutlass sedan. I personally like the behind the plate gas fill since it lets me pull up on either side at the station.
need these guys to run the country
I wonder what they sell these cars for I would love to do a project like this but I'm not sure what I'd make out of it
You know I like GNX and I even like a regal but there's a couple things I don't like about this car for one everything completely custom including having a weld the reducer onto the water pump. So what happens when you need to put another water pump in it? That introduces a problem. Additionally no speedometer cable so there's no way to tell how fast you're going. Along with exhaust tip welded into the bumper what happens with age and it needs to be changed not to mention I'm pretty sure the restriction with the muffler location having to bring all the angle pieces to meet up with the tip 90s. Plus notching the bumper. And what about a rear seat no mention of that probably not because of the wheel tubs and all the metal work back there and you also lost the trunk. And lastly a highly painted car with not a mud flap camera angle putting dirt and rock chips all over the back quarter panel. You know I had high really high hopes for this. And while not a total catastrophe. I probably would have modified it a little but I would have kept factory regal their older cars they're very hard to find in good condition I still would have done spoiler paint and gotten rid of the ragtop but it could have been made into a sleeper or at least a real good performing regal. Now it's just a regal looking custom with issues. It's not even drivable with no speedometer no back seat or trunk and fully custom makes it real hard to maintenance. I know it sounds like I'm giving it a hard time but I didn't even watch the foxbody mustang because who really wants to see that garbage all the little Ford fanatic mustang fanboys.
Where do I get ma grenades at?
So what happens to cars on your channel, like this one? Do they get sold off, at auction or listed for sale? If so, what would/did this one sell for?
That was awesome!!
what a nice project
5:08 tommy reminds me of the guy from “ no country for old men ” got the same hair
You really need some earlier solid red tail lights to replace the ones with that horizontal chrome bar through them to compliment the louvers, fender flares, spoiler and dimples.
THE … finishing touch !
Loved the grass car. That was an awesome video, also, enjoyed seeing Vicegrip Garage on here as well.
Great job on this one. Amazing watch! What will it sell for $60k? $80k?
Beast. Well done.
Funny how lame us cars got this days, far better European now, miles ahead
So what was the approx build cost? $100K+
