Hey, on mine there was a nut underneath the bolt that held the strap on. when i removed it the nut rolled away some where. is that normal or is the hole in the tray supposed to be threaded? I notice you didn't have to keep track of a nut under there.
If its a push start and not key ignition do i need a specific battery. I saw a H5 is for ignition and H6 is for push start. Im confused? I have a push button ignition
Simple yet informative. Answered all my questions.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for this!
So my trax requires me to push down brake pedal and then push start.
Very helpful! The trax must just be notorious for a short battery life because, I had mine for almost 3 years i think and it had the same problem. Could get it going for a day but next day, nothing. Couldn’t hold a charge.
Thank you so much !
Just changed my battery. Success! Thank you !
Don't you ever clean the battery box and it's accessories
I have an old ratchet set that say 5/16. Which one of these would be a 13 or 10 that you mentioned
What is that heat sink next to the left side of the battery?
Do you happen to have a video on how to replace a negative ground cable on a 2016 Trax LS 1.4L Turbo?
Thank you very much….car keeps eating batteries, (5 in 5 years,) I'm thinking it's a bad ground cable…..if I don't drive for three days, car has to be jumpstarted.
How much time do you have when both terminals are disconnected before you lose all the computer settings? Will there be any driving issues, relearning? Key fobs still working after?
Thank you.
