the old oil looks really good considering the mileage. The previous owner
clearly took good care of her.
I had to add a little friction modifier to my Ranger 8.8 4.10 LS after
drain and fill with LS compatible mobil 1 gear oil. Was making some
shudder and noise but fine now after a few oz of extra friction modifier.
I would imagine Amsoil probably has way more additives to start with.
Aw, c’mon, I wanted to see two patches of burning rubber at the end of the
video. 😀 Good informative video though, and nice look inside to see how
the limited slip works. But yeah, treat this one nice, and it will treat
you nice also
incredibly explained and detailed. Thanks!
I have a ford 7.5 diff with a plastic diff cover. Inside is a magnet
factory installed that is flat-its super thin like a refidgerator magnet
and about the size of 3 postage stamps. Small and weak but it does collect
very fine metal dust.
