My car misses too in overdrive usually at freeway speeds when overdrive is
engaged. Items I have replaced both cam sensors, PCM, engine wire harness,
ignition control module, coil packs, wires, intake manifold gaskets, plugs
and all 6 injectors with used ones but they were cleaned/checked by a
professional business but all replaced with OEM ones. I have not replaced
the crank sensor as of yet.

It wasn’t the sensor. It was the magnet on the camshaft that sends a signal
to the sensor
yes they do. right at the hermonic balancer.
so could this be why my car keeps shutting off while im driving??
Well in my case it was the sendor oil broke down insulator around the wires
