Dean Mcpherson says:

Great video guys, This video was very helpful..thanks

milldabeast519 says:

my 94 lesabre blew the valve seals at around 220 k but i think the manifold
gaskets where the big problem. wish i had of seen this vid before i got rid
of it! i have a 98 regal now and my abs light serrvice vehicle light and
security light kept coming on in the last 2 days and its been raining non
stop. i think it may be a corroded or shitty wire on my wheel sensor??

Alex Bizzanelli says:

Fixing this car now this Helped thanks

Christian Schminkey says:

I have a 1999 buick regal with a 3800 series 2 non supercharged engine how
would I figure out if the manifold was ever changed I bought the car and
the original owner passed and his son had no idea what he had done to it.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

Hi, we do not have a heater core video at this time. It is quite a big job
on that vehicle, the entire dashboard and instrument panel has to be
removed from the video. Search youtube for “Heater Core Replacement” and
Cooper Lake Automotive has a good video on a heater core on a VW Passat
that also had to have the dash removed, that will give you an idea of whats
involved.

angryace13 says:

lol, if that, these cars are know too reach 400,000 too sometimes 500,000
miles…

Scott Eavey says:

This guy is the man!!! I watched all 7 of his videos and I replaced both
upper and lower intake manifold gaskets for less than $200, instead of
$1000 plus. I had no clue how to do this job, but just what the automotive
dealer said what the problem and cost would be. YOU TUBE is the life and
money saver!!! Thank you very very much.

bimbai says:

are the same steps apply to the 98 buick?

FTGdrummer says:

I can’t believe my buddy, says he’s a gear head, said that my old 92
lesabre had an inline 6. Haha, wtf. sorry that was pretty random.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

The 98 model is very similar, there are some differences but this video can
be used as a general template for the job.

WISEOWL1941 says:

This vapor because it was heavier than the air flow, flowed to the front of
the intake and then dispersed into the front two cylinders as indicated by
the clean intake passages into these cylinders. This also fouled the two
spark plugs due to the heavy vapor flow. The engine had ingested about 1/2
gal of fluid before I realized what was happening at this point I removed
the radiator cap to relieve the pressure and the steam cloud from the
exhaust that engulfed the entire car eventually cleared

timishot55 says:

My 92 had this problem 100.000 miles ago it has 231.000

diva723 says:

Can you post a video on replacing both upper adn lower intake gasket on a
2002 Pontiac Bonneville se its not supercharged. Thanks

greenfiero1986 says:

I consider 100,000 miles relatively low. Considering that car’s age it is a
spring chicken, only 1/3 of its life.

happydog500 says:

Could you please post a video of how to replace a transmission in a 95-99
LeSabre? 🙂 🙂

paul saker says:

you r the best man

MitsuEVOIX1 says:

At 5:00 you can see the purple connections that where the problem is…the
cable snapped at that point

MitsuEVOIX1 says:

Those cable that come out of the EGR …. I need them replaced where they
connect to the engine. What are they called?

combovercarl says:

I am in the process of looking for a used car and I have around 10k to
spend. Can you recommend a reliable vehicle in that price range? I
understand that all cars are different depending on how well they were
taken care of and how many miles they have, but being a mechanic…are
there some late model cars that you find to be well built and reliable?

Aaron cook says:

I have a ’93 buick that im redoing the intake on and this series of videos
has been very informative step by step. Strange that every video is
identical to what im seeing on my own motor even down to all of the ports
being dirty except the last on the left, must be a common problem with the
upper intake gasket on this motor

WISEOWL1941 says:

I bought the manifold kit and other top-engine items and did the complete
job. The lower aluminum manifold gaskets were also cracked and done-for but
the main leak was at the throttle valve and in my case, this etched a deep
canal into the aluminum and if not corrected, you will AGAIN have fluid
sprayed into the intake! I ground-out the aluminum areas until clean,
applied a metal epoxy and then block-sanded it flat; note that a heavy coat
of silicon might also work but I like the epoxy fix.

Christian Schminkey says:

Mine feels like a harder plastic than what my friend has on his 3800 plus
mine has no hidden bolt arrow on it like the stock manifolds all I really
see on it is 2 circles with number in them. they point to certain numbers
my guess is the day and month they were manufactured. but could be a batch
number too

Jeff Armer says:

Do you have a video on replacement of the heater core on 1999 model
Oldsmobile intrigue ?How long does it take? What all has to come a part ?
