Finally, a second installment of the 1994 Buick Regal series! Its spring time and its time to get this car rolling. First thing first is the Transmission oil and filter change. This car has a 4T60E transmission bolted to its Series 1 3800 V6 and would apply to all cars with that drive train, like the Bonneville, Grand Prix, Monte Carlo, Impala, Olds Cutlass, and most larger Buicks.
Come check it out!
Make sure to clean all of your engine grounds.. I have a 96 series 2 Regal and it made a huge difference at idle ..no more power drops..
Neg ground from battery underneath battery on tray..
Ground from the coil module is underneath on belt side of engine ..
Worst on mine was the ground on engine, straight down from the driver's side dog bone where the thick negative cable connects to the block along with the grounds from the PCM and something else.. it was majorly corroded..
Like I said it made a huge difference..
I still need to clean the connections on the starter
Very good video. I have a newly acquired 1979 GMC Caballero V6 3.8L 231, and there is practically nothing on these sweet engines. These engines seem to be as reliable as a 350, which I owned for years in a boat. I did not know that this 231 engine was in so many cars. Keep it up, good job.
For 10 bucks more I bought AC Delco Dextron 6 They do not make The 3 anymore
I hope you get to that caprice wagon soon!, looks like a cool car
