Installing the BEST BMW N54 Charge Pipe & BOV! (DIY)

It was finally time to replace the stock plastic charge pipe on my BMW 335i. It’s prone to cracking or breaking once you start modifying your N54. Don’t get left stranded on the side of the road, replace it as part of preventative modification maintenance. All of the parts and tools you’ll need are linked below!

Even though I've been a mechanic for 34 years, it's nice to see how to do a job before starting, I had the pipe but not the Vacuum caps, just ordered them before the install(mods so far VSFR 7.5" intercooler, Big diff Mfactory, Diff brace, No tune yet but soon)

So I just installed my ARM charge pipe and Tial BOV. Am I suppose to put that brown o ring under the BOV cause I couldn't get it to sit flush and put it on with out and it sits flush.

Your spring looks too weak in the BOV. make sure you get 11PSI spring. Also you neet to run 1/4" hose to the BOV from the intake, instead of the 1/8 you have.

Just bought the almost complete high quality all aluminum CarLAB Tunning charge pipe + boost pipe cooling kit for my M-Sport F10 n55 at $260. All i need to complete all plastic to metal swap of all pipes is the Lower charge pipe that runs down to the Intercooler. The stock small intercooler will also be replaced with a $215 all aluminum thick larger Intercooler and while im add it ill upgrade the cheap stock boost Diverter to a USA designed, Japanese made DV+ BOV Diverter and get everything out of the way!
