This video shows you how to install a new valve cover gasket in your 2001-2006 BMW 325Xi. Under the valve cover, you have camshafts and the valvetrain spinning and flinging oil everywhere. A valve cover has to have a gasket to stop some of that oil from leaking out the seam. When you do see oil around your valve cover, you know it’s time to replace the gasket.

This repair was done on a 2001 BMW 325xi Base 2.5L Sedan 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2001 BMW 325xi
2002 BMW 325xi
2003 BMW 325xi
2004 BMW 325xi
2005 BMW 325xi
2006 BMW 325xi
