It would be very helpful if you’d told us what model year X5 this video
describes. The inside of my 2009 X5 looks nothing like this. I realize this
video demonstrates how to change the HID headlamps, but replacement of the
daytime running lights (angel eyes) are a breeze, requiring no tools, at
least in my model year.
I’m getting myself ready to fix my son’s 2005 X5 headlamps. This video was
helpful, although I am hopeful that accessing the lamp might be simpler due
to a different design. Good stuff nonetheless.
what year is this x5?
What year model is that? i have a 2001 x5
I’m sorry, I do not. I have never owned or worked on a 2006 model.
It’s not the same process for a 2006 model…don’t suppose you know of a
video for that model?
Can you tell us what bulb type that is in case we ned to get one for our
X5? Thanks for the vid. Very helpful.
very helpful video Alex thanks
What size socket did you say was needed? I couldnt hear you. Thanks
I think the only size socket used in this procedure is 10mm. You could also
just use the socket that fits.
Nice vid thx
