In this video, I swapped out the chrome 340i badge on my car for a gloss black one. The black looks more sporty and I’m surprised BMW didn’t offer these as an option on the F30 generation. In the video, I show how to safely remove the old badge (de-badge) and install the new one without losing the position.
A couple quick notes: 1 This would have been WAY easier if it were warm out. If you can, park in the sun on a hot day and the old badge will come off MUCH easier. 2 In the video I used dental floss which worked, but the back side of the badge kept cutting through the floss. Not a big deal and it will work in a pinch, but fishing line would have probably worked better.

to be extra precise you could of marked on the top of the tape where the number "3" starts and the letter "I" ends. so its exact.

I remove the 525i decals and simply painted them black, matt-black. Used Goop to stick'em back on. Been over a year and it's still lookin good.
