Hey Everyone,
Welcome back to part 2 of our Pure Stage 2 Turbo Upgrade on our 2013 BMW F30 335i xDrive! In today’s video, we will be walking through the process of removing the stock turbo from the car. As you will see we did NOT have to drop the subframe to successfully do this.
When you are draining your coolant, you need to remove the hose on the water pump to get all of it out. If not, you will get wet 🙂
Also, keep in mind that this video is geared for those who have a basic automotive knowledge. This is a complicated installation, so please be prepared before you begin. Always be safe…

Hi guy's I have a 2013 328i and it smokes when starts when it's been 2+ day's without turning on. I would love some advice. I all so saw your video about the n20 engines and the lawsuit against BMW. Mine is at 66k but I'm in Florida and my vehicle is doing ok but very stressful to know my engine could go bad any time. I would like some advice on what to do. Love your instructive videos. I own a n54 motor and i always have to take the subframe out if i need to do work on the turbos. I am very surprised that for the f30 N55, you have the option not to remove the subframe
(Googles installation cost for pure turbo….)
Hey Kies thanks for such a nice video. Besides changing oil and filter and the turbo oil lines is there anything else someone going for a pure stage 2 turbo should do in terms of maintenance or to make sure the car runs fine with this setup?

N55 turbo swap is so much easier then the n54 wish I had a n55
will like to upgrade mines on my 2015 f30 335 RWD later on. how is that new turbo upgrade holding on so far? and after you did the upgrade what tunes did you throw on it to get the most out of the new turbo? btw thanks to your video you gave me enough confident that I can doit on my car. =]
