don't do this. you will just piss off your upholstery guy. it just makes your headliner a big mess, it bleeds through and takes longer to fix right!!
Make sure when you’re in the car to close all doors before spraying
This is a bad idea
1. Most glues will leave a permanent stain after a few days of drying
2. The headliner falls down not because of bad glue, but deteriorating foam. If you just glue it on the bad foam, it's going to fall down again in a few day AND it's going to make it so much harder to replace properly (you will not only have to remove the old fabric and foam, but the new glue as well)
The proper way to do this would be removing the headliner, tearing down the fabric and some foam, after remove most of the foam with a firm scrubbing brush, buy a new headliner material (make sure it's foam backed) and spray glue (I recommend 3m 76 hitack) and glue it on (follow glue manufacturers manual)
Then reinstall the headliner

It doesn’t work, when it’s hot it de-attaches.
Terrible advice. The fabric is separating from the foam…and the foam is still stuck on the base headliner. Anyone reading this: don't do this. Guaranteed to fail. Do it right the first time.
