As a apprentice mechanic that metálic look on the transmission fluid means you really need that new transmission . And the fluid was perfectly full .
So happy I finally saw someone use a jack to remove a bolt, I had to do that to tension my quad chain
That space is insane i had 1cm and one finger of speace + 2 hot downpipes directly under fillport…..

Not having room for that plug, the struggle is real. That's what I gotta do tomorrow… I gotta go get me a 24mm shallow socket.
Was definitely low/burnt fluid LOL
Sounds ur diff needs rebuilding or replacing my man!! Had that whine issue on my 6MT 07 e90 and mechanic said if it keeps getting worse it could seize and blow up
My dad always told me to use the right tool for the job
I think an air impact or breaker bar would have been a better choice than a hammer and a jack
