Absolutely hate the cartridge filter because once you unscrew the cap, all
the trapped dirty oil flows back to the oil sump. Although it will drain
out, but the trapped metal filings all drains back to the oil sump. Toyota
has a better solution in which the oil cartridge is mounted upside down and
there is a little valve to discharge all the dirty oil before you unscrew
the cover off.
