it means your fucked yourself if you can’t get it out. try using a vacuum
to get it otherwise your going to have to remove the intake to remove it.
if you try to start your engine you will be saying good bye to it

I was cleaning my icv on my 2002 bmw 330i if any1 knows could u please help
me thanks

nenep89 says:

I was wondering if u know what to do if I dropped a little piece of plactic
about one inch into the intake tube the one the is connected to the motor
and it connects to the idle control valve too

Bullshitkorner says:

you need to smoke test the engine and find the leak

prophetjones253 says:

My 2002 330i has will shake when it’s cold in the morning, making the cel
come on, it is the running lean code and I can’t find the problem

Bullshitkorner says:

mine does not have a hydraulic tensioner so i’m not sure on how to remove
it, however i’m sure somebody has a diy on this this… all i know is that
the hydraulic tensioner is not cheap by any means

harlemsoldier83 says:

Thanks so much for your help! Changed the oil and the light went off. I
actually think the sound is coming from the tensioner pulley. I have a
hydraulic one which moves downward when I turn clockwise on it, so I can
release the belt. How would I take this off completely? Would I have to
turn counter clockwise for a hydraulic tensioner pulley? Once again, thanks
a lot man!

Bullshitkorner says:

5w-30 is what you should be using BMW rated, however red flickering is bad
that means you have almost no oil pressure. the ticking noise you are
hearing is the parts not getting enough oil…… from what your saying
it’s not looking good for your engine

harlemsoldier83 says:

Thanks man! I will make a video. I think it’s oil related. The tick sounds
like a lifter tick and the red oil light flickers. I’m thinking it has to
do with oil pressure? Can you please tell me the oil weight I should be
using. I was using 0-w30 but someone told me I needed a heavier oil.

Bullshitkorner says:

make a video and post it online, that will give a clearer idea of what
maybe going on. almost sounds like a crack exhaust manifold or downpipe
perhaps

harlemsoldier83 says:

I checked and the pin is still there. However, I’m getting a ticking sound
when the car gets warm, and when I give it a little gas, there’s a funny
sounding acceleration. Sort of like a vibrating sound. If I unplugged the
disa but still heard this sounds, could it still be the disa? I really
appreciate your feed back bro!

Bullshitkorner says:

it could be very possible that the pin in the disa valve is loose or fallen
out causing this, which can be very bad news as that pin if it enters the
engine can destroy it

harlemsoldier83 says:

I suspect this is what’s wrong with my 2004 325i. When I start it idles
fine but when the car is warm, I get a loud vibrating sound. Would these be
the signs of a leak in the disa? The sound is def coming from the intake.
Thanks for the video bro!

Bullshitkorner says:

i try to keep it real, and not show a picture perfect job that never
happens

Dunn Dem says:

one of the realest dudes on youtube!!!!

Poundingsand says:

Ah. Got it. Love the videos. Keep ’em coming! I just bought a 2005 330i and
can use al the help I can get…

Bullshitkorner says:

your right but doing the disa oring was part of a much bigger project that
i was working on, that’s why i added it in.

Poundingsand says:

Love your videos, man. This should be helpful as I intend to check my DISA
soon. But I gotta ask, why did you remove the cabin air filter? It’s
nowhere NEAR the DISA! You might as well have removed the back seat to make
the job easier! LOL Cheers!

MusclesACN says:

Broseph, The part you can use is actually a 1991-94 Ford Probe Water Gasket
O ring, Same size and fits snugg, I did it as per a e46 forum

Bullshitkorner says:

i do not have a part number as BMW doesn’t sell it, but you can order it
online or ebay has them as well. My car has seemed to have all the common
issues that these cars are faced with

Moe Kazan says:

Just call me butterfingers

Bullshitkorner says:

Steve your not way off topic I have had lots of requests to do the spark
plugs on the 5.4 engine as well. that will be next spring/summer project. I
had purchased the extractor tool already to be prepared for the horrible
job of replacing the plugs. the guy i bought the kit off of said he broke
all 8 plugs. my tip for removing the plugs would be to run seafoam on the
last 2 tanks of fuel before changing and crack the plug and spray some carb
cleaner and let it sit for a few hours

Eligio Gonzalez says:

hello I have a BMW 330i, in the morning when I turn it on, it sounds like a
tic tic, as it has enendido while decreases the sound, I think are the
divers or aims, these are calibrated? or are hydraulic?? another question
BMW DSIA sounds like you have marbles inside is normal? because if the car
accelerated to 3 rpm this falls to 500 rpm could you suggest me to check?
could upload some video where you can see? thank you!

Bullshitkorner says:

the whole purpose is to give people the confidence to do the work
themselves without having to take it to the shop and pay huge amounts in
labour. I would never use a air ratchet to remove spark plugs ever, the
last thing you want to do is risk stripping the heads

Troft Trampler says:

Great videos, I was just winding where you got your parts from if it was
over the Internet or just at crapy tire. Thanks
