Can you do the same method with headlights that have the ANGEL EYES factory? I have a 2003 e39 530i with broken adjusters. Can’t afford to replace, or send for repair, so I have to do it myself. Any suggestions?

@lewis72 Yes the long one Adjuster Goes in the outer side. the small one goes in the middle. If you bought the metal kind it Should have threads in it. It’s like the plastic ones Sometimes the threads come too small.
Have been following your vid. for swapping mine.
The only confusing thing is that I’m swapping out the plastic ones for metal ones and it’s not clear where the long one goes, as the pastic ones disintegrated. I THINK the long one goes at the end.
Furthermore, for those fitting aluminium ones, the parts aren’t threaded, so you must use the bolt to tap a thread, using mole gripes for extra torque. Wind the bolt back & forth, advancing slowly, to get a tapped thread.
