Thanks dude, youre videos are very helpfull and funny too. Plugs were very tight, and couple of times there came nasty sound, but no damage. Engine was cool too. I think they were never changed (162tkm).

Bullshitkorner says:

all depends on what’s recommended for your vehicle, newer vehicles are around 100000kms

Dave Kana says:

At what mileage should the plugs be changed, what’s the change interval?

Bullshitkorner says:

i approved your video, i’d smoke test it to be sure but i’m going to guess it’s the lower intake boot considering that it’s been going on for awhile

MusclesACN says:

Dude,I posted a video similar to this looking for HALP. Maybe you can know what it is. Preciate it man, love your vids I got an E46 vid under my list

aqib2000 says:

Excellant idea

Bullshitkorner says:

i wouldn’t pull the coil packs out while its running as there is a good chance you’ll get sparked. however you can put a glass of water on the engine and remove the electrical connection to the coil and if the water starts to shake in the glass you’ll know that coil works.

haris mohammed says:

Is it safe to pull out coil packs when connected and engine running? I just want to know if all coil packs are working fine. Thanks

Bullshitkorner says:

either is good, i went with bosch and not having any issues

Marc Wikina says:

I have an E46 330ci, should i go with bosch or NGK

Random415510 says:

thanks

Bullshitkorner says:

no you don’t but you can if you want too

Random415510 says:

Do you need to disconnect the battery to change to sparkplugs?

Bullshitkorner says:

thanks, that’s what my goal is. i want to be able to help as many people as i can and save them from paying expensive labour costs at the dealer

lsvtecsir . says:

trentcdrums says:

Bullshitkorner says:

Derald Snipes says:

BorkFactor says:

Excellent video, thank you very much! I will be attempting this along with an oil + filter change on my 1998 E46 328i later on today. Mine is a UK model so right hand drive, but I can’t imagine it will be much different. Cheers!

alipate takau says:

=) afterwards do u want to race lol haha

Bullshitkorner says:

well since you just changed it, you should be fine it will still be soft and you shouldn’t have any issues. I have the peake tool as well it comes in handy

alipate takau says:

unlucky for me i changed the cover like 2 weeks ago ,I put a new one on, after doing some reading i stumbled across the vanos seals, now i want to change them LOL its the last thing on my list everything is done for now,I bought a peake tool that i just got the other day which really helps, my car is 328i e46 1998, so i try to stay on top of it =) my old gasket cover was like hard wax breaking apart so all is good .

Bullshitkorner says:

make sure you got a valve cover gasket as well, and make sure it’s the right one. Mine is a 2002 but with a build date in 2001 and the valve cover gaskets changed in 2002.

you will need to remove the valve cover to get at the vanos, and you will most likely see once you remove it that you V.G gasket is hard and brittle

alipate takau says:

yeah the Vanos seals are like 60 bux but well worth it im going to fix it once i receive them. a 6 pack you reckon im thinking of getting a whole box and fix myself before starting LOL hahaha all the best my friend.

Bullshitkorner says:

ive never done the Vano’s but it will come in the future, I’d be betting on at least a 6 pack

alipate takau says:

awesome video, next week im doing my seals for the vanos , done abit of reading looks fun , have you ever changed o ring on your vanos? =) p.s how much beer is needed to get through this LOL =) thanks heaps
