there is a metal clip that holds sensor in place, there is no clip for the
wiring as it’s all one piece. the factory one i believe did not have the
metal clip but it just stayed in place

richk3c says:

Hmm.. at 2:57 I”m seeing some connector that flares out on the top and
bottom of the sensor wiring (at the point about 1/4″ up where the wiring
meets the plastic sensor). Seems to be used to hold the wiring or sensor in
place.

Bullshitkorner says:

there is no clip at the beginning of the wire, it’s all one piece your
first attachment is the where the brake bleed valve is

richk3c says:

Great video. Dumb question: on the new one you installed at 2:59 i can see
there is a clip on the sensor just at the beginning of the wire. Is that
part of the sensor cable or part of the car? Cause I didn’t see them on the
old one you pulled from the car. If the clip is part of the car, then I
guess to put the sensor you have to pull them off the clip and then pull
the sensor out? I tried to gently pull while holding those clips but i
didn’t want to force it.

Bullshitkorner says:

ebay or a auto wrecker i would think would be best

Edmund Mendez says:

Yeah those fucking sensors get very brittle man, they snap off all the time
but they’re like $20 each so no big deal. Thanks for the video man

Nazgul001 says:

Great video as always! Thanks!

Edmund Mendez says:

Hey man I need a new ABS module on my E39, where can I find a cheap
replacement? Those modules are expensive eh.

Bullshitkorner says:

my Innova 3160 will read most codes on domestic vehicles however it lacks
for the transmission and speciality codes. Otherwise i’m pretty happy with
it.

fordwindsor351 says:

The deal that I have found out over the years is that a regular obdII
scanner will not read ABS, TRANSMISSION and a few other codes relating to
air bags . On certain makes n models a generic scanner will even read less.
I have an Innova 3100 and for the most does me good , thankfully i havent
had any transmission or ABS issues where i would then be heading to a shop
which i hate.
