There are autopilot systems that are used in day to day boats/ships however when it comes to docking a human is still required due to currents and tides that are not calculated by the onboard autopilot. Funny enough Captains oversee the autopilot system work when going across the ocean but when it comes to shore side navigation or docking a “pilot” takes over and manually steers the boat/ship
I've only heard ppl say start with expensive cars and then scale up for mass production tho
I'm shocked along with the entire car industry.
