Also, I did not like the length of the original wiring harness that came
with the kit. It would have worked if I stretched it taught and the wire
would have run under the seat and I did not want any friction, or rubbing,
on the wires; so I spliced the trailer wire in to the wiring harness, which
gave me the room to route the wire where I wanted.
