Worn Bearing, “How To Replace DIY The Easy Way”
The rear wheel bearing was getting noisy making a metallic rotating sound.
In the video I show how to check the wheel bearing, and then replace on the car, removing as little as possible, using just a few tool bought from amazon.
This job is the same on many BMW Models.

Great video and interesting to watch. Only comment I would make is to tighten those various nuts using a torque wrench. Those electric impact wrenches impart a MASSIVE amount of torque and it is super easy to over tighten bolts, particularly the main axle and the wheel studs!!!
How some things change and others stay the same. Damn near identical to an e36
U kept saying take the drive shaft off lol i was like broooo noooooo im not trying to take that off then i realized u ment the axle not drive shaft lol u had me sweating lol
Great, smart job. No knocking, no rush. Excellent.
Hey mate,
Did you have to remove the parking brakes? Or, can you just leave it alone and could still finish the bearing replacement?
Love the video. But I think the disc would of come of easier if you adjusted the shoes.
Great Video. 10/10. now to head out and do the E36. Cheers
Thank you for giving me the confidence to take on this project!
Brilliant brilliant brilliant. Thank you so much for this.
Still there? Can you remember what size bearing separator you used? Cheers
