So my M52 isn't blown up, haven't ran it for 3 years and the last time it ran it smoked like a chimney. No coolant in oil and no oil on the plugs. So is this my problem?

Carl Martinz says:

Chad Ditsworth says:

Can you make me these set ups and can you ship them to me ? Let me know how I can purchase these from you after you hand make the set up and I can just bolt on and go?

TheLarryBrown says:

first off: if you're going to make videos, you should always try to improve. listen to this video and count how many times you say "uh." Then try to avoid saying that.

Ty B says:

What if you have the e90 that doesn’t use a dipstick?

Bmw M3 e46 says:

did a ccv delete on my e36 and the valve cover hose was smoking, not sure of that

Slengo Slengaw says:

if the ccv is starting to fail, would it smoke continuously and or on cold start up?

Leland Gregory says:

Phil Clements hey hit me up if you will, I got ???? more than one please.

Sroor9001 says:

Hi Nathan how many days does it take to clear oil sucked in intake manifold ?after deleting ccv ?

Phil Clements says:

if there smoke and it's losing oil then it's either the ccv valves or the valve stem steals.. if it smokes after a period of idling then it's most like the valve stem steal… I rent a kit to fix this issue in the UK eBay item number 232107621811 contact me and I'll try to help

Pdot Smith says:

Does this problem happen with the 2005 645? It's lets out blue smoke if you stopped at a stop light for a while then when you hit gas then you will see puff of blue smoke

Ram says:

325ci Blue smoke from Engine after driving . White smoke sometimes from exhaust . idles okay but sometimes at red light idles really rough. please help ! Gonna have to sell my car cause I'm no mechanic and I can afford it to break.

ERees says:

What about the low tension piston rings?

Mark Moore says:

where is the oil catch can going? is it better to vent the valve cover hose or connect to vacuum? I thought you stated in another video that you would prefer to keep the dipstick hose a breather? do you think you could make a video of the new procedures?

Mark Moore says:

hey Nathan, Great video. soo, u vent both ends of the tube coming out the valve cover and the dipstick and block the one on top of the intake going to pcv and im done?

Toolz Time Projects says:

Looks like BMW over engineered these CCV systems, or f…ed this up on purpose, on some models up to 5 brittle hoses and an oil separator, compared to a vacuum hose and PCV installed into a valve cover with a simple baffle built inside. Other car makers have mastered this problem long ago, while BMW still struggles with this problem, which can result in hydrolock and a rod knocking a gigantic hole through your engine's block. Besides what idiot puts a dipstick tube in an engine so far that it can suck all the oil out if the oil separator goes bad? Pull out the dipstick tube or in some cases it's just a drain for the oil separator and cut that SOB off, it has an o ring, where it goes into the engine and won't leak if you cut up to 7 or 8 inches off. No one else makes this tube so damn long that there is a chance of blowing the motor. When the valve goes bad it starts sucking out crank case oil, like a straw stuck in a milkshake…F…ing engineering disaster!!!

Hell even a one way check valve between the oil separator and dipstick tube, would solve the problem, if the separator goes bad the one way would stop it from sucking out all the oil.

Scott latham says:

Hi Nathan. I seem to have had a CCV catastrophic failure.  I did not know what it was and drove the car.  It made it home then started tapping lightly.  Bluing was intermittent.  Idle was very rough then OK but still ran.  I just sealed the Throttle Body.  I knew about the CCV due to idling.  Is By-passing something I can do to clear it and just leave it that way?  Emission's is not an issue here.  It has about 300,000 miles on it.  Thx.

Michael Whiteley says:

FYI: I passed emissions in Utah just capping the intake ports and venting crankcase to atmosphere. Complete CCV removal.

Thank You So Much

kevin lumpkin says:

i have a 2005 x5 white smoke coming from the tail pipe would recommend doing this or just replacing the ccv vaule system all together.

Fred Rodrigues says:

How long have you been riding with this bypass, it sounds to good to be true that this will be a permanent solution. Good video, thanks for posting.
