Philip Starr says:

Somehow I stripped that upper cap and can’t get it out. What a pain!

Rnr Rrn says:

I would suggest when you use the 5mm hex tool that it be magnetized just as
added caution when removing the second plug. When changing mine, it did
fall off inside but I was fortunate it was right at the edge inside and the
magnetized hex was able to get it.
Good video thanks for posting..safe riding

Paul Springer says:

Careful, 4.5 liters is 4.7 quarts, not “just under 4 quarts” as stated in
the video.

Thomas Miller says:

This was very informative, thank you for posting.

800mxz says:

Do you have a procedure to turn off the engine service light? I would
prefer to do my own changes, but here in the Twin Cities area, the dealers
charge to turn the light off (they get your money one way or another)

Joseph Marton says:

Well thanx a whole bunch for this and your other how to videos. Yes it
helps and saves money ! If I am ever that way on my GT or HP or both, I
will get a hold of the Illinois BMW club and check out your rides.

Andor Koval says:

Thank you for doing a good job it helped me a lot. I’m new to the K1600
bike.

Its one thing to take out one oil plug, but then you have one more plug
inside and hope you dont round it off or mess that one up..… I totally
think this is a huge FAIL for BMW… just wow.. So I was just thinking that
maybe BMW could but the oil filter where the back tire is next time so you
have to take the rear tire off to remove the oil filter.. They just placed
it in the strangest spots. TY for your video…
