David Cayll says:

I had this problem so I just got a replacement black dash trim and black covers from the junkyard. I removed the rubberized coating with denatured alcohol. Now looks great and it will not scratch any more.

DL says:

I just use the rubbing alcohol and cloth to wipe the sticky material off. Don’t need to remove the cup holder. It works

M Razaiy says:

Since you just need the cup holder face why did you take the whole cup holder lol

Michael_Christian says:

Cant i just remove that rubberized paint the plastic is the right color underneath

D Wgz says:

I got a question ? BMW told me the color of the interior of my car is Dakota beige so should I get Dakota beige of colorbond or the same one ur using ? I would really appreciate the help

Dmitry Ivashutin says:

Wow! Really cool!!!

Ren says:

Nice job. That's a project I need to do soon. BMW interiors are just generally made cheap, costly to replace/repair, and definitely fragile.

TrEuDaT says:

Just buy replacement caps which you can do without removing the cup holders. By removing the cup holders, you risk scratching the paint on the cupholder trim panel!

JA ابو تراب says:

I need Venetion Beige in spray paint I cannot find it anywhere. I used all in one colourant and that has made the seat worst

B&B Ltd. says:

Don't use a razor blade. You should use something much softer. You can scrape it off with an old credit card. You will mess of the plastic with a razor.

Love L. says:

Hey I have 2007 bmw 328i sport and can't find the color code under my seat so do I find it. But it does kind of look like this one in this video !

Marina Videka says:

Guys it's a great video, do you have any idea where could I get the same paint in Europe? Maybe some other brand would also be ok. Also did you wrap the trim on this e90, I have the same interior and looking for ideas, thanks

Chemically says:

You guys literally saved me so much money , thank you so much.

Michael T says:

awesome video thanks so much. The paint does look darker than the original (see 10:43 where you can see the centre console trim next to it) I was hoping the colorbond would be exact. thanks again i will follow your method exactly. 🙂

VpointVick says:

If the cup holder faces pop off then why bother removing the assemblies from the dash?

Ender Masher says:

What is the color for a series 3 2002 325xi

Kimi H says:

Thank you for your excellent video & paint advise. Repainted my cup holder area and it looks almost new. I had a lot of difficulty getting my cup holder out so I opted to use a small prying tool that actually got the front clips off without taking the cup holder out of its carriage. You can only do it if you remove the surrounding frame to avoid scratching or damaging the outer surface. Saved sooooo much time than having to put the cup holder back in!!!

Shamus says:

I just did the HVAC surround with the bmw black. I was annoyed that it had a 1/2 inch gouge in the rubberized finish so I cleaned all the coating off with rubbing alcohol, toothpaste and a toothbrush. It’s now drying. I’m amazed how well the LVP refinisher works. Looks oem brand new again. I’ll reinstall tomorrow night.

Eclipse says:

Nice video. How do you find out you exact paint color needed?

Eclipse says:

Did you break the cup holder while trying to remove it?

pete tirado says:

I’m very curious if u have any knowledge on the BMW e66 no start no crank. If so can u please email me. Pete.Tirado24@gmail.com

Kekky says:

Doesn't it require a primer or adhesive promoter?
