I have never done anything remotely technical – let alone with a relatively
grown up and expensive car – so I congratulate you on this easy to follow
video – and thank you for saving me the BMW fee I would have been charged.
Filter changed and light reset – perfect job though I say so myself!!

Dean Galow says:

Awesome dude… i got an E91 which i’ve put a performance filter in which
doesn’t need to be changed – just cleaned! took it to my local garage who
said it barely has to be cleaned, but they did it & greased it up. The
advise i followed to reset my microfilter (why isn’t this included anyway
in a standard oil service & chagne all the filters??) Did exactly as said &
it worked a treat!! Many thanks dude & njoy the Beemer! Love my motor 320d
Msport.

Scott Jackson says:

Which filters is considered the microfilter? I have a 2007 530i. I have
noticed that I no longer get fresh air in my cabin when I’m behind a diesel
truck, etc. when my AC recirculation is on Auto like I did when I first
bought my vehicle. I was going to change out the two cabin filters on the
ends hoping that would fix the issue but didn’t realized there was another
filter in the center. Yesterday, my microfilter light came on. I will
change out all 3 but which is causing my issue? THANKS!

djknucklez1 says:

Nice! Thank you

Scott Jackson says:

I just got my vehicle back from some work and checked under the hood. I
don’t have a middle filter. I guess the 2007 530i only has the two side
filters. Not sure where the actual sensor is located but perhaps I need to
check that out as well. I was so impressed with the AUC when I first got my
vehicle and now it doesn’t work at all. Thanks for your video.

Many thanks for the great video! Can’t wait to try this myself.

Jason Carton says:

I believe it is different. If I am correct you do not have a middle
horizontal panel, just ones on either side

Jason Carton says:

The Center one (in this video) is the main filter to fix issues such as
being behind a diesel truck. Replace the center and you should have no more
issues. Don’t forget to reset the light, shown in the end of the video too

thanegotiator says:

Thanks for the info. Needed to reset my warning light and it worked
perfectly.

Jason Carton says:

No Problem! Good luck with install

yangjian Hu says:
