LETICIA BONILLA says:

does this work with bmw 545i?

roskinc says:

type e60 aux cable on ebay or search for my user name roskinc

roskinc says:

you need to code the car for aux to work, as i said in the video.

roskinc says:

you can only choose one location unless you build a custom switch to switch
between which aux you want to use.

roskinc says:

i assume your is low volume and almost no bass correct? the BMW original
cables do that, mine sounds cd quality with good bass

roskinc says:

my ebay page, ebay user name is roskinc or email me roskindavid@gmail.com

roskinc says:

CCC unit, new center trim, GPS antenna (10 ebay one is what i used), new
controller (or you can code the current one to work), and larger 8.8″
screen, you need to code the navigation into the vehicle order (vo)

wilczewm says:

on updatubg the transmission and all the rest of the systems on the vehicle

i have an 08 535i and it has aux in the back seat area. can i add this in
addition to? i have a spot in my center console that would be great for the
aux.

Milos Stojiljkovic says:

Hello, I’m from Serbia. I’m impressed with your work, and I followed your
video tutorials, managed to pull out sport mode hidden button and
everything works perfect. But I have problem with AUX, in the menu I dont
have option for AUX. When I connect AUX cable still dont have option in
menu. What I need to do about that? Do I need to upgrade firmware or
something else? If I need to upgrade what I need to do? Can u help me?

Alternate Singapore says:

hi.. i try to find the aux extension cable like yours with the screw at the
female jack at ebay, i cant find it. whats the name of the aux cable?

roskinc says:

it should give you the same CD quality, have you tried using it with a
different audio source (different phone, or ipod), also remember it is aux,
so the volume on the device must be adjusted to be the same as the radio/cd
(fm and cd have a set volume, the device you control volume), double check
the pins where in the correct spot and also check the aux cable used.

Alex Chavez says:

yes i used your cable

roskinc says:

only reason it would do that, like you can hear the sound but sounds like
the bass is gone and or the rear speakers is not working is if you
disconnected some wiring from the plug you plugged the aux cable pins into.
double check the pins are in the correct spot RED in slot 7, WHITE in slot
2 and BLACK in slot 8.. did you unplug anything and forget to plug anything
back in?

Alex Chavez says:

hey I followed the video and installed the aux cable. Everything went fine
and I was able to install the aux cable, however I was listening to the
radio and a CD I had in the car and the sound is not the same it sounds
less powerful, before you could hear the cars sound bump and now its
missing that extra bass or power. Any idea what could have happened?

Alex Chavez says:

no no,im sorry I mean i installed the aux cable but i have not coded my car
yet , i will be doing that tomorrow. However my car has the aux cable
already in place but is not coded and my radio and CDs i use right now are
the ones that are not sounding how they used to

roskinc says:

did you use my cable or one from BMW?

Alex Chavez says:

yes thats exactly how it sounds! Thanks alot bro, i will double check that
tomorrow morning and ill let you know whats up. I really appreciate it
thanks man!

roskinc says:

yes it is, my car came without navi and retrofitted it myself. the DIY is
almost the same as when i take apart my dash for AUX, just need to remove
screen and wire up a GPS antenna, ill try to do a diy on that part.

roskinc says:

ill see if i can do a diy similiar to that, just for you!

MsLingarOo Valentino says:

can you do a tut how install neons under the seats with a switch at the
dash?

yadigg214 says:

@roskinc i have a 09 bmw 5351 without navigation is it possible to buy a
factory bmw navi and install it in my car? Thanks

zero696 says:

Great video man, you’re making it look quite easy. You’ve got a new
subscriber! Just a question: is it worth buying the OBD coding cable + the
cable itself instead of paying for it on a BMW car service? I heard it’s
about 50$.

MrMacaroni13 says:
