MJ Parker says:

Finally got around to start replacing my entire coolant system, thanks to my fan disintegrating earlier this year. First up, the water pump. I think the shop I bought my car from may have replaced it because it came off really easily. However, no matter how hard I tried, I could not get the fan clutch off, even with the "special" tools. Turns out I didn't need to – it's not very difficult with the remains of the fan removed from the clutch. If anyone has trouble getting it off, don't spend an hour trying (like I did). Easy enough to get around the clutch to remove all the nuts and bolts. I think the shop I bought my car from may have replaced the water pump because it came off easily.

my 05’ 325i coolant tank exploded the other week, I think/hope that the head gaskets should be fine. Flushed the whole system 3 times, ordered a new upper tank hose and lower left radiator hose. Definitely a good call to replace all the o-rings, the one around my thermostat was definitely not doing its job. The cooling system and the CCV were the two main things i’ve already had to replace, made so much easier thanks to your videos!

Dan Ratliff says:

I have the same radiator drain plug that you show in this video. I need to replace it and can’t find it anywhere. Could you please recommend a source for this. Thank you.

wtf this shit is easy, gotta love that design with no paper gaskets

Anthony Moser says:

I am having trouble getting my fan off. The bolt seems welded on. Is there a different way to change the water pump if you are having trouble with the fan removal.

Michael Hook says:
