Wouldnt say this is “correctly” the way to do it, If you are using an
aftermarket HU, use the rca connections, much better SQ than a L.O.C. Also
soldering those connections would be a good idea, especially sat next to a
sub, twisted up wires arent a great way to connect them.

If you have set up the amp correctly, you will know when it will be at risk
of distortion at a set volume level on the HU, so you have nothing to fear
turning it up.

Using a L.O.C. after the harmon amp on a factory HU is not good as the
outputs would not be a pure signal so you would loose SQ with it, you would
be better off using something like a jl audio cleansweep.

However for an easy and cheap way for an average guy who is not bothered
about sound quality, this guide would be helpful. I just wouldnt say it is
the correct way to do things.

Dear random exposure, excellent video! I got this done at a shop and
learned after the fact they didn’t connect all speakers on the original
Harman Kardon system, instead, they only connected the 4 main speakers;
therefore, while the sounds may be a little louder now, it compromised the
sound quality. Would you say removing the aftermarket amp connections is as
relatively as simple as a reverse installation on this video? I mean, are
the cables in all cars colored add the one you worked on? Would I just
remove the box and reconnect all other original cables? Your feedback is
appreciated! Betohatch!

This video really helps, I didn’t know how to do all this stuff and all the
other videos don’t really tell you how it’s done so this video tells you
exactly what you need to do except if you have a 2006 BMW 325i the white
wire that he talks about is gonna be the black one on the 325i and
everything else is correct, thank you for making this video it really helps
