hi,
which air pump or compressor did you use? is it some portable small air
compressor? if it is then please tell me the make, description psi etc and
price of it. I have 100 psi air compressor but it doesn’t seem to be
sucking brake fluid out. help please..
When you think its done, you tighten the bleeding screw and press the brake
pedal. If you feel the pedal is soft and something just doesnt feel right,
you have to continue bleeding
Great simple video mate, it will help a lot! My caliper seized while
driving over the weekend so I need to change it tomorrow. I do most of the
work on my car but this will be the first time I’m doing the brakes… the
one thing missing from this vid is how to bleed the brakes if you don’t
have a compressor but thats no big deal as I’m sure there’s a vid on YT
with a way. All the best!
You should wear gloves. If you depress the brake pedal slightly and hold in
place with piece of timber between seat & pedal or similar will avoid
losing brake fluid, also placing a piece of cling film over the expansion
reservoir and fitting the lid will also stop you losing fluid. Apart from
that a good simple guide.
Yes gloves is a good idea. I never use the gloves because I only do repair
jobs 5-10 times pr year. The gloves often cracks and fingers gets dirty
anyway. Last but not least, I hate my hands will have this bad rubber smell
for 2 days after wearing gloves. But I agree its probably the best you can
do for your health.

Make sure that thread on the brake hose is getting straight into the
caliper so that you wont cross thread and damage it during assembly
Did this at the weekend. Really helpful – many thanks!
how do you know the brake bleeding is finished and there is no more air in
the brakes system?
